cocktail classes! Learn mixology history and technique, enjoy light snacks and welcome cocktails, then craft and savor your own festive drinks at your station.

Classes are designed to be fun, social, and approachable. No prior cocktail experience required!
Dates & Themes
Each class runs 2:00–3:30 PM on Saturdays in the cozy Soda Club space (95 Avenue A, NewYork, NY 10009).

About Sother Teague
Professional bartender Sother Teague is a founding partner and Beverage Director at Overthrow Hospitality, a NYC-based restaurant and beverage group that includes Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Award-winning bitters bar Amor y Amargo, in addition to several other venues. He's also the charismatic co-host of the long-running show "The Speakeasy" on Heritage Radio Network, which has also won a Spirited Award from TotC.
In 2017, Sother was named Mixologist of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and has been featured as a cocktail expert in numerous publications, including Esquire, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Time Out, BuzzFeed, VinePair, and many more. Additionally, he has written two books (all on his iPhone as he's always on the go!) about cocktails and cocktail culture: "I'm Just Here For The Drinks" and "Let's Get Blitzen." He is currently working on a third.
